Customized Orthotics Using 3D Printing!

Have you ever considered that your back pain, hip pain, knee pain, or foot pain may actually be due to the way you're walking?
(Picture of orthotics)

Whether you are incredibly active or mostly sedentary, you probably have some degree of postural dysfunction and gait abnormality that affects the evenness of your weight distribution.

I have partenered up with a company called Sols that uses 3D printing and computerized algorithms to make highly customizable orthotics that takes your physical activity levels into considerationThis system measures your foot not only in a static position but also in a dynamic, weight-bearing position which gives a much more accurate assessment of the way you walk. Compared to a plaster mold which only takes the shape of your foot into consideration, this system can accurately assess your gait, provide arch support, and correct unequal weight-distribution to create an orthotic that fits your lifestyle.

I highly recommend orthotics for anyone suffering from achilles tendinitis, pes planus (flat feet), back problems, heel pain, gait abnormality, knee pain, or for runners, athletes, and anyone interested in correcting their posture and gait.

Natural Remedies for Sinus Infections (Sinusitis) and Post Nasal Drip

Sinus Infection, or Sinusitis, is swelling or inflammation of the sinus cavities on the face. When the sinus cavities become blocked with fluid and germs, this can cause an infection to develop.

Common symptoms include:
  • feeling pressure in the head
  • headaches
  • facial congestion
  • nasal discharge
  • post nasal drip
  • pus in the nasal cavity

Factors that trigger these symptoms:
  • environmental allergies
  • air pollutants
  • cold/flu
  • poor diet
  • weakened immune system
  • deviated septum

Because there are many varying factors, it can be frustrating to deal with sinusitis. However, there are a number of natural remedies that can be effective.

In my opinion keeping a strong immune system, maintaining a healthy diet, staying hydrated, and regularly ridding toxins from your body is imperative. The best way to deal with your symptoms is to find what works best for You. Here are a few suggestions:

1. Neil Med Sinus Rinse http://amzn.to/2of2WwP
2. Humidifier or breathing in steam  (from a boiling pot or steam sauna) http://amzn.to/2oh1lXW
3. Colloidal Silver in a nasal spray
4. Acupuncture treatment
5. Sinus Massage

Note: Overuse of colloidal silver can lead to toxicity. As always, do not hesitate to email me with any questions or concerns regarding the correct dosage and frequency for the suggestions listed above: DrErnieKim@gmail.com

Post nasal drip is the build up of fluid and mucus that accumulates or drips in the back of the throat. Symptoms of post nasal drip and sinusitis often occur together.

Common symptoms include:
  • a need to constantly swallow mucus or fluid
  • sore throat
  • nasal discharge
  • sinusitis

Factors that trigger these symptoms:
  • dairy foods
  • gastric reflux
  • medications that cause dryness
  • environmental allergies
  • air pollutants
  • cold/flu
  • weakened immune system

Similar to sinusitis keeping a strong immune system, maintaining a healthy diet, staying hydrated, and regularly ridding toxins from your body is imperative. The best way to deal with your symptoms is to find what works best for You. Here are a few suggestions:

  2. Humidifier or breathing in steam (from a boiling pot or steam sauna) http://amzn.to/2oh1lXW
  3. Neil Med Sinus Rinse http://amzn.to/2of2WwP
  4. Colloidal Silver (1 shotglass of colloidal silver 2x a day. Gargle for 20 seconds before swallowing)
  5. Acupuncture treatment
